Spanish exports to rebound by 6.2 % in the first ten months of 2013

During the first ten months of 2013 , Spanish exports have extended their upward momentum , registering an annual increase of 6.2 % to 196,608.2 million, according to the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness . Thus, foreign sales continue to record highs – a – equivalent period since 1971.

Imports , meanwhile , have fallen by 2.0% in the reference range compared to the previous year , totaling 208,974.4 million. However, the real growth stood at 2.6% , as prices have fallen 4.5%.

Thus, the trade deficit is lowered and reaches 55.9% 12,366.2 million euros, compared to 28,056.4 million in the same period of 2012 – . The coverage rate moves 7.3 points to settle at 94.1% (86.8% in January-October of the previous year ) .
